Manor Adventure

Every single one of our amazing year 6's has shown incredible focus, determination, and resilience during the SATs, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they have carried themselves. Tests can feel big, but they have proved they are even bigger. They have supported each other, stayed calm, and gave their very best and that deserves celebrating.
To mark all your hard work, we’ve arranged a fantastic day out at Manor Adventure in Culmington a place packed with excitement, challenges, and the kind of memories you’ll still be talking about in September.
At Manor Adventure, there are lots of activities we may be doing but it still needs sorting, however you might find yourselves:
- Tackling the climbing wall — gripping, stretching, and reaching the top with your teammates cheering you on
- Fencing or Shooting arrows in archery, learning how to aim with focus and precision
- Raft building, where you’ll work together to design something that actually floats (or at least mostly floats)
- Taking on obstacle courses, testing your balance, bravery, and teamwork
- Exploring the outdoors, discovering new skills and pushing yourselves in the best possible way
These may not be what you do but are examples.
Every activity is designed to help you grow in confidence, work as a team, and most importantly have a brilliant time.
Supporters of Corvedale School have kindly offered to pay a big chunk of the cost but there will still be a contribution needed. Details of this and final arrangements are still being confirmed, and we will let you know. We do know that on Monday 8th June we will be there from 8.30 am until 5.15 pm and it includes lunch and four 1 ½ hour activities.
Get ready for a fabulous day together you won’t forget.
