Ofsted Good May 2014
Ofsted May 2014: “Pupils work hard in lessons and enjoy their learning… They feel safe, and they are very proud of their school.”
Corvedale school is situated in the village of Diddlebury which is approximately 7 miles from Ludlow and 5 miles from Craven Arms. The school sits in an attractive rural setting with beautiful outlooks from most aspects of the school. Following recent developments, the school is now one building. The older part consists of three classrooms, a hall for P.E assemblies and lunches, a kitchen, an office, a resources room, and staff room. The more recent part is purpose built for preschool and key stage 1 children. The joining of the two buildings has provided two extra teaching areas and first class outdoor learning facilities for early years. The school has a Forest School area, an outdoor classroom, a garden and an adventure playground. Most children go to Ludlow School at the end of Year 6, however, there are a small number of children who occasionally go to other schools including Church Stretton, William Brookes in Much Wenlock, Bedstone College and Moor Park.
